High Dynamic Range Source Images

Atrium Banner



The radiance maps of five different lighting variations of the Atrium can be downloaded form this page. There are also sources to build  high dynamic range images
from 8 different settings. Except for the left and two right images in the banner above, the source are different lighting conditions, mainly photographs taken at different times during the day on November 12th 2001.
Recently (June 2008), Roman Durikovic took a number of High Dynamic Range photographs from different camera positions.

Images Sources

All images are saved in Photoshop (.psd) format, each layer is a differrent exposure in 1 fstop increment. The aperture and longest exposure is written in the name
of the bottom layer. You can also use Gimp to open these images in their native format. Those are 24bit photographs without any processing, some images might
need spatial adjustment before building a radiance map.
