Seminar: Visual Computing Techniques for Efficient Content Production (Summer Semester 2012)

This seminar covers advanced computer vision and computer graphics techniques used in the creation of content for movies or computer games, e.g.,

The target audience are students in computer science or related fields. Basic knowledge about 3D geometry, image processing, and computer graphics are required. Every participant will give a talk on a chosen scientific publication. Afterwards, the publication will be discussed within the seminar group. This is a great opportunity for students to improve their research and presentation skills and to learn about the latest developments in computer vision and computer graphics.

The seminar language is English.

Time: Mondays, 16:15-17:45
First seminar: Monday, April 23, 2012
Room: Building E1.4 (Max-Planck-Institut), Room 024 (on April 23, Mai 7, and June 25 the seminar will take place in room 019)
