MPI Informatics Building Model v1.0 - Comparison of Real Photos and Rendered Images

We illustrate the match between the tonemapped HDR photograps from the building and the tonemapped HDR images rendered by ray tracing, path tracing, and instant global illumination (implemented in PBRT). The description of camera viewpoints is available.

The photos and rendered images below were tonemapped by a global linear operator, where the gamma value was set to 2.2 with the utility normtiff from the Radiance rendering package developed by Greg Ward.
