"Beam us up, Scotty!"

First, we wanted to have a disco sphere in our scene, but without global ilumination, this wouldn't work, so we decided to use a little star trek quote instead.
The dynamics in our animation comes from several things:
- the moving clouds
- movment of the camera
- the flowing of spheres in the middle of the scene
- and finally the ermergence of our bodies.

Some facts about our animation:
- ~1.500.000 triangles
- 9 spheres
- fully procedural shading
- 2 area lights with 16 rays each, 1 point light - 16x super sampling
- recursion depth 15
- ~10 min per frame

We rendered the animation on different machines, but unluckily, we used different versions of the ground obj-files, so we have a little flaw in our annimation.

We like to thank Nils Halser (MPII) for providing us 3D scans of our bodys.
