The YAGO ontology is based on data from Wikipedia and WordNet.
Some people have experienced problems when downloading these items using Internet Explorer, as such we recommend using a different web browser. The following items can be downloaded.

Querying
There are multiple ways of querying YAGO:
- You can query YAGO directly online through the Web interface.
- You can also use our Java interface to query YAGO, see above under "Downloads".
- Thanks to Paul McQuesten, there is also a free database implementation tailored to YAGO here.
- YAGO is also available as a Web service. This means that YAGO can be queried online by RDFS-compatible applications. The YAGO URIs are of the form
http://mpii.de/yago/resource/entityname
