How to compile MSG
There are two ways to compile MSG
- Using makefile: set the appropriate parameters in the makefiles (compiler to use, library locations, ...)
- Using tmk. tmk is a TCl-based make-tool useful as a replacement for Makefiles. After downloading, installing, and setting up tmk, type 'tmk -help' to get more information. If TCL & tmk are installed correctly, type
- 'tmk' to build a debug-version
- 'tmk -max' to build an optimized version You will find the executables in the corresponding subdirectories of the applications, e.g. nodes/ IRIX6.5/ *.[oa] for unoptimized IRIX 6.5 and nodes/ IRIX6.5_max/ *.[oa] for optimized IRIX 6.5. Object files under different operating systems and compilation switches will reside in different directories.
