Autolocation for Real Application Clusters: RMAN automatically discovers which nodes of an Oracle Real Application Clusters configuration can access the files that you want to back up or restore. RMAN autolocates the following files:
RMAN enables the autolocation feature whenever the allocated channels have different PARMS or CONNECT strings.
Real Application Clusters Guard II supports comprehensive workload management to maintain high availability for the Real Application Clusters database and its applications. You can use the standard Server Control (SRVCTL) Utility and the Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) to administer Real Application Clusters Guard II.
